Week 1: The new beginning
So this week it begins. Not much to say other then I’m really excited that I’m back in the game and looking forward to some creative stuff during this project. I hope everyone enjoys this and all feedback is welcome (please), whether it's good or bad, so don't be shy!

Week 2: Summers coming to an end
So Labor Day’s next week...Damn did this summer just fly by. I'm not one who enjoys the heat really, but I love the beaches. It's amazing some of the pictures you find out there of these beautiful lands that seems unreal. This picture is actually fake, but I had this idea I wanted to fulfill so I came up with this. Thanks to Giancarlo Mella for the background landscape shot, it was an amazing one.

Week 3: Last of the ocean
So it’s official, Labor Days here and the beach days are pretty much over; but that doesn’t stop me from continuing going. I actually seem to enjoy it better when fall comes in and the beaches are empty. I go out, get on the beaches for free, bring a chair, and just sit back and relax. This weekend I ended up buying my first real Pro lens [See here]. As you can see in the picture I had a ton of fun with it and can’t say I regret spending the money, as it does a wonderful job. I am looking forward to the upcoming weeks to get more shots!

Week 4: Adidas
So I had the white backdrop up and had a friend over. We decided to have some fun as this guy is a true Golf addict. He has wanted to get some really good shots of him and his golf stances so we shot away last night. This is one of my favorite shots as there was plenty. The one thing about photo shoots is there are so many pictures to choose from, you need to know which one works best. I think that is one of the hardest parts of photography. It's taking that one photo from the bunch, performing your best post work on it, and distributing it out to the clients. I hope you guys and gals like this shot as much as I do. [Here's the othershot I had a hard time choosing over.]

Week 5: Faith
Recently a very close friend of mine (and my confirmation God Father) was recently hospitalized. Father Antonio Bico has been battling a few different illnesses and at this point his liver is failing on him (Cancer). Just about a year ago he was in the final stages of his life, where at one point they thought it was over; but because there is a God, he recovered from one day to the next and was back on his feet in no time. For the past week the news kept getting worse and worse, but I kept my faith. Just today I received a call stating that he is out of his Coma and that his current condition was stable (but he was still sedated.) Although we need to continue praying, another miracle has happened in my eyes. I believe he will get better, and he will be well enough to marry me on April 29th 2011! I ask everyone please say a short prayer for him, as his mission was always to help the youth and get them back on their feet from the wrong ways they may have followed; he is truly loved by many.

Week 6: Old School Toys
So this week my parents returned. They brought back some souvenirs and here you find a spinning top from Portugal. Haven't seen these things since I was real young.

Week 7: Happy 2nd Birthday
We celebrated my Godson's 2nd birthday. The best thing was he kept blowing out the candle and it kept turning back on (it wasn't trick candles!).

Week 8: Portfolio
So a friend wanted to get some pictures taken for his work portfolio. We went out and had some fun. Here's one of the shots. The other has been posted under October's sessions.

Week 9: Sweet Girl Lilly
So I finally got to meet my new cousin Lilly! She was such a cute girl and was so calm. To bad I'm a scary cat when it comes to handling small babies.

Week 10: Profile Portrait
Today my Job asked if I can take some pictures for our companies associate directory. After that I had some fun with an associate who sits next to me. This was his Profile Picture.

Week 11: The Werewolves
Happy Halloween! So yea this week's Halloween week. We usually have a contest every year at our company but this years contest was canceled for whatever reason. As upset as we were, we did not give up. We went out and decorated our department for the kids. It was a blast. Hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween.

Week 12: Smoking Kills
So how many of you out there smoke or know someone who smokes and who wants to quit? I used to be one, and am glad I did quit. Crazy thing is there are still folks out there that are diagnosed with lung cancer even after quitting for years. Take my advice as you will, if you don’t really want... to quit smoking then don’t even bother trying. Why? I hear so many folks out there complain everyday about how cigarettes cost them $9 a day and how they want to stop so badly but they can’t. Excuses like “Oh, I’ve been smoking for too long”; or, “I have too much stress.” This is all BS. If you really want it, you can make it happen. I am not saying it’s easy, but it is definitely possible! I’m not here to lecture, but rather share my experience and hopefully help those who do want to stop, to really stop. I wish you the best.

Week 13: Ready to party!
So I had a friend's Birthday this week. He hooked it up and booked a suite at the Harrah's in Atlantic City, NJ for the night. Gathered up some friends and we had a ball. Hope everyone had a great week!

Week 14: Dreams come true!
So yes, I bit the bullet and ordered the dream lens! Wahoo, boy am I happy. I've been waiting to purchase this lens for some time now and can officially say my Lens purchases (for now :) ) are complete. At this point I think I might be able to sell off a lens or two but it will be a very h...ard decision. Either way it's time to stop spending money and time to get shooting! I have a project lined up and I have to get to it. Hopefully it will bring some new images soon. Have a good rest of the week folks.

Week 15: Giving thanks...
So this week is Thanksgiving week. I actually have a lot to be thankful for as I normally take a lot for granted. Sometimes we miss things because life moves to fast, and photography/these projects help me see things I've never realized. I'm glad I've started up this 2nd project but it's not... the same as Project 365 which I regret giving up on. One thing I have come to realize is that this second project's results have been very weak. My goal was to be creative, and I just haven't been putting 100% into it. I'm marking this week as the new starting point that moving forward, I need to step it up, and I hope to have everyones feedback keep me going as it's done in the past. Thanks everyone for following and being a fan. I hope you all had a great holiday. :)

Week 16: Holiday Cheer
So the holiday's are here and every year they seem to go by faster and faster. This year we decided to go to NYC to see the Christmas Tree lighting, and boy was it packed with people! After we got away from the rush I got to enjoy myself. I never really noticed (or have I :) ) but NYC is full ...of photo opportunities. My mind was going crazy with all sort of ideas but we were on a move and there were massive amounts of people so maybe some other day I'll go back with some models to shoot some more :)

Week 17: Christmas Spirit
So I thought I'd take a few more shots from the Christmas theme since we have about 2 weeks left till then. I hope everyone's stress levels are staying low these days :)

Week 18: Happiness
So I ended up finding out last second that I had earned a bonus day at work for having perfect attendance for the first 6 months of the year. Without delay I took my day off this week and glad I did. Between all the OT and holiday season, it's been pretty stressful and tiring. Despite that I got to spend the day with my Fiancee and her family dog Mikey. Hope you all had a cheerful week.

Week 19: All I want...
Dear Santa,
You have reached the wrong house. All gifts should be donated to those less fortunate. However...if you happen to have any photography equipment in your bag, feel free to forget it under my tree.
Thank you,
John Caetano

Week 20: Let's start it off
Hope you all had a great New Year. I got to spend it with the love of my life and some friends, great times. Wish you all a healthy and successful 2011!
